We stayed here with our 6 year old daughter in November 2013, hoping to see the starling murmurations at Hamwall Nature Reserve. The cottage is lovely and cosy and superbly decorated and furnished with a high quality kitchen and furniture. Mark & Mary are great hosts, very helpful and greeted us when we arrived. The pub nearby is very handy, being a 2 minute walk away, with great beer and nice food and a very unique bar! The cottage goes the extra mile, the hosts providing fluffy bathrobes, quality towels, cereals and breakfast supplies and toiletries, even a bottle of wine and chocs! Langport is lovely and there’s a lot to see in the area. We will definitely be back and would 100% recommend this cottage and also – see the 250,000 starlings – they were amazing!! Thanks to Mark & Mary for a superb weekend.
