The house is clearly loved with the way it has been furnished and how it has been renovated to a very high standard. If you want a to stay somewhere in beautiful surroundings, peaceful but also close to amenities you cannot go far wrong with this place. Sam21 August 2026We stayed at Mary’s place as a stop off on our way to Devon, visiting some family on the way. It was perfect for a quiet night, we sat out on the outdoor table and had some takeaway pizza before settling in for a cosy nights sleep. Melanie16 August 2026Great spot to visit Langport and the local surrounding area. Well equipped Cottage, Mary & Sophie have thought of everything. Lots of little details. The Breakfast items were a welcomed bonus. Made use of the outside area, quiet and comfortable seating. Lovely pub just 5minutes walk away. Overall a comfortable base for the 4 of us.Posted on Airbnb
Susan16 August 2026Withy House was a little tricky to find as Google maps sent us down Knapp Lane when the accommodation appears to be on Langport Road, on the corner of Knapp Lane. We were warmly greeted by Sophie who showed us around. The house accommodated 6 adults, a baby and a dog well. A good breakfast was supplied and the kitchen was very well stocked with a washing machine, dishwasher etc. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels and hot water. Staying there for just 2 nights whilst attending a wedding, we had little down time to spend in the games room but what a fantastic amenity. We only managed a few games of table tennis. Mary and Sophie were very helpful hosts and we are happy to recommend this accommodation.Posted on Airbnb

Shauna19 July 2026Loved the cosy tidy house and would definitely stay again! ☺I liked that the property felt like a home away from home. It was tidy and cosy! Getting into the property was very easy and we enjoyed our time. ☹Not the owners fault at all but as the temperature was so high we found the bedrooms were extremely hot. 2 guests slept on the sofas downstairs. Helena21 May 2026Overnight stay with a baby ☺The coded front door is a brilliant idea and means there is no risk of losing the key. The cottage was beautifully presented. The breakfast bits that were left by the hosts was a lovely added extra. The eggs were very tasty and from their own hens. The hosts were quick to answer you when you messaged them. There is parking available outside the cottage. Very impressed overall as our stay was at short notice. ☹There is gorgeous flagstone flooring covering most of the downstairs and only a small area of carpet in the dining space. This didn't concern us as our baby is not yet crawling, and we were only staying overnight. But something to bear in mind if you have very young children. The only bathroom is downstairs and at the front. We did not find this too much of an issue. But it is something to consider if you wake in the night. The track down to the cottage is narrow. But there is extra lights to make sure you are safe. We own a large SUV and we managed to get down it.Posted on Booking

We had a lovely week here with our granddaughter who had work experience just up the road. From the pictures it looked as though the cottages were close to what we presumed was a busy road. They aren't! It was very quiet and friendly and our cottage was old and quaint and very nicely renovated. Highly recommended.Posted on Hotels.com

Sarah Adamson31 July 2023We hired the main house to host my mum's 70th birthday party this weekend & all I can say is..... WOW! The accommodation & facilities at Knapp house are exceptional!! The games room provides everything you could hope for to keep energetic children occupied.. as well as a great sound system & pull down screen, which we used to stream a photo montage! The main house also has a firepit which for any piromaniac, is an added bonus!!! We loved every single minute, & can't thank Mary & Sophie enough for their hospitality! I would highly recommend, & will definitely be staying here again.Posted on Google

Beautiful, well equipped cottage in a peaceful location an opportunity to relax and recharge.
Cottage was beautiful with lots of original charm, close to some lovely walks and places to eat making it a truly relaxing break.

Nice little house in a lovely surrounding
We liked the garden where we had our diner and breakfast. We also very much enjoined the pub across the street for a pint and to play pool.
