Ham Hill Fayre – September

Ham Hill Fayre where there will be plenty of opportunities for people to get involved with heritage and countryside at this fantastic Iron Age site.

The Ham Hill Fayre offers a fun day out for all the family. From 11am, you can take advantage of the wide range of activities on offer from hands on willow crafts, to having your face painted.

There will be warrior training for the brave and flint knapping and coin minting taking place next to our very own Iron Age roundhouse.

Witness the domestic life of an Iron Age tribe, help complete the building of a traditional round house constructed by the country parks ranger team and welcome the Roman centurions who occupied the fort.

Wildlife and countryside groups will also be joining in with the day, with stalls and retailers from the local area, a petting farm and there will also be horse and carriage rides around the flat meadows so you can experience a more traditional way of travelling.
